The second part of the design process is finished. I really enjoyed working for this small luxury boutique hotel in the Edinburgh city centre. After a small consultation job for one of the rooms I got asked to re-design two other rooms. The brief was to turn them from single to double rooms and while staying in keeping with the style of the hotel to introduce a wow factor.
Here are the inspiration boards and the visuals for the two rooms.
One of the rooms is very small and dark, so I’ve chosen a scheme using contrasting colours and reflective surfaces to bring more light in the room.
The other room has lot’s of natural light and wonderful big windows but the existing furniture and layout didn’t work. This is the new furniture allowing the light to travel around the room and this exquisite wallpaper from Anthropologie gives the room a dreamy feel.
